End of First Trip

Well, our first trip to Russia has been a success!!  We are very pleased the way things have gone, and with the amount of time we were able to spend with our sweet Connor.  The next step is to wait for paperwork to gathered and submitted to the court for a court date in Russia.  We will make two more trips to Russia.  The second trip will be for our court date and it will be a shorter trip.  The third trip will be about 5 days and that will be to get our Connor and bring him home.  As of right now the time frame looks as if it will be March or April before we get to bring our sweet boy home!  We left a picture of us including Madilyn hoping that Connor will not forget us before we can come again.  We know that he is in good hands and just pray that the Lord will continue to provide our love to him!  As hard as it was to leave Connor today the Lord gave us a peace that He will watch over, guide, protect and love our baby!  We are so very thankful that God has chosen us to be Connor's family and how wonderful to know that every part of this is His will and in His hands!

  2. So used to reading blogs where the families are in Ukraine and I almost had a heart attack when I read you where coming home! Then I remembered where you are, and could breath again. Urg, March/April sounds SO very far away, but seeing as it's December already, it's not as far as we may think.

So happy that you had a great visit with this little bunddle of joy:) Hope that you can get back to his quickly, and that your heart are filled with peace while you wait.
