Progress

"I am with you and for you.  When you decide on a course of action that is in line with My will, nothing in heaven or on earth can stop you.  You may encounter many obstacles as you move toward your goal, but don't be discouraged - never give up!  With my help, you can overcome any obstacle.  Do not expect an easy path as you journey hand in hand with Me, but do remember that I, your very-present Helper, am omnipotent. 

Much, much stress results from your wanting to make things happen before their times have come.  One of the main ways I assert my sovereignty is in the timing of events.  If you want to stay close to Me and do things My way, ask Me to show you the path forward moment by moment.  Instead of dashing headlong toward your goal, let Me set the pace.  Slow down, and enjoy the journey in My Presence."  Sarah Young           WOW!!!!!!!!!!

After two and a half months of nothing we now have something!!  We received an email this week from our Russian contact that the orphanage finally got the paperwork completed classifying Connor as a true orphan! 
Now Connor needs to get the conclusion of the Medical Commission for adoption.  This usually takes 2-3 weeks. So we should know more in about a month... we hope!  We are so so excited!  Matt is painting Connor's room tonight!  It is so difficult sometimes to remember to trust God and this is all in His timing!  God has this whole thing planned out and planned out perfectly at that!

Our prayers are that God's hands be the hands that guide this adoption and adoption process.  We pray that God will continue to love, protect and bless our precious boy in special ways through this process.  We also pray that God will remind Matt and me that He is in control and we need to trust Him at all times!
