It is 7:15pm in Moscow and we are eating dinner. We had a good day with Connor but also a little stressful. As most of you know we have seen God's hand in this adoption from the beginning, but today we also felt satan trying do his part. We have been asked numerous, since arriving in Russia, if we are sure about proceeding and told that it is not to late to change our minds (the Russians, including Alla, just still don't have any idea why we would want to do this). We were walking with Connor outside of the facility and he kept throwing fits, and Alla once again pulled us aside and tried to talk us out of adopting him. We firmly put our foot down and said this IS what we are going to do. With Alla asking the questions she asked, satan was very much trying to work his way into the situation and put doubts in our minds. We left the orphanage and had a chance to open the bible and pray and once again God gave us a peace that we are right where we are supposed to be.
I court hearing is at 11:00am tomorrow. (2:00am Texas time) We were told it would only last 20-40 minutes and we would have the answer immediately.

Satan wants to do everything in his power not to allow precious Connor to come into a loving home, but thankfully you hear God's heart and faithful to do what he has called you to. Praying for Satan's voice to be silenced and God's love and heart be shown to all who can't understand. Praying the court hearing goes well and that it won't be long until you are able to bring your sweet little boy home!
