YES YES YES

THE JUDGE SAID YES!!!!  WAHOOOOOO!!  Our court hearing was very quick!  It lasted about 20 minutes.  The judge asked very few questions.  It was so neat to know that as we were sitting in the courtroom there were people across the world praying for us!  We felt each prayer throughout the morning! It is so crazy to think that the court has now accepted Connor as OUR son!  God is so good!  As we sat in the courtroom I was holding back the tears just thinking about our journey and all of the "God things" that have occurred along the way!  I still just can't believe that God chose Matt and I to take this journey and follow Him on this path!  We are so very thankful and blessed!

We will go back home tomorrow.  We return to Russia on May 15th to finalize the paperwork.  Saturday May 21st we will return home with Connor!!!!

"As you look into the day that sretches out before you, you see many choice-points along the way.  The myriad possibilities these choices present can confuse you.  Draw your mind back to the threshold of this day, where I stand beside you, lovingly preparing you for what is ahead.  You must make your choices one at a time, since each is contingent upon the decision that precedes it.  Instead of trying to create a mental map of your path through this day, focus on My loving Presence with you.  I will equip you as you go, so that you can handle whatver comes your way.  Trust Me to supply wha tyou need when you need it."  Sarah Young

  2. Congratulations! I am new to Reeces Rainbow- my husband and I are praying about adopting a child. I can't imagine how excited and busy you must be. The reason I am contacting you has to do with the little girl, Victoria, you mentioned in a previous entry. Of all the precious children on the RR website, Victoria has a special tug on my heart- then I saw her on your blog! When I contacted the adoption agency that works in her region I was told the Moscow City coordinator was not returning any of the agency's emails, so it didn't look hopeful. Are you adopting from region 23? Is it possible you could give me any information about Victoria? Such as what is her general health lu
Iike, how does she communicate, etc? Actually any information would be appreciated! I know you are very busy at this exciting time- if you do find the time you can reach me at michelegorman@comcast.net. Your blog has really spoken to me. Congratulations again on your adoption!
